Orthotic Fitting
Room! - Be aware that orthotics can take up a lot of room in the shoe.
Removable Insoles - It is helpful if you get a shoe with a removable insole - this helps increase the depth of the shoe to accommodate the orthotic.
Increase Length - May need to get shoes half a size bigger to fit orthotic.
Increase Width - May need to get a wider fitting shoe to fit orthotic.

Closed Shoe - A lace up or closed shoe with velcro straps keeps the foot in a secure position and stops the foot raising out of the shoe when your child is walking.
